Erin grew up on beautiful Whidbey Island in a military community, as the daughter of a Naval Aviator and Designated Broker/Owners of Acorn Properties. She graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, where she studied Biology, Psychology, Pre-Medicine and Spanish. Erin relocated to Portland, OR, to work in mental healthcare, social work, emergency veterinary medicine, wildlife rehabilitation and grief counseling.
In 2020, she returned home to Whidbey and earned her Real Estate License in March of 2021. Erin hit the ground running, partnering with REALTORS® with thirty & forty years of experience. Erin was awarded the North Puget Sound Association of REALTORS® (NPSAR) 2021 Rookie of the Year for Co-Selling $7,567,750 in her first nine months, and Whidbey Island Association of REALTORS® (WIAR) 2022 Rookie of the Year for Co-Selling $14,574,945 in her second year.
She strongly believes in building as much knowledge as she can, to best represent her clients. Erin has earned the At Home with Diversity (AHWD), Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) Certifications, as well as the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), GREEN®, and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) Designations. Erin believes how with most things in life, where you focus your energy and time matters. She is very involved with her local REALTOR® Associations, having served on the following committees: NPSAR Education (2021-Present) including as Vice Chair (2023), Chair (2024), and Vice Chair again (2025), NPSAR Awards (2022), NPSAR Grievance (2023-Present), NPSAR Nominations (2023), NPSAR Board of Directors (2024), WIAR Board of Directors (2023-Present) including as Secretary (2023), President-Elect (2024) and President (2025), WIAR Events (2023-Present), WIAR Awards (2023-2024), WIAR Education/DEI-A (2024-Present) as Chair (2024), WIAR Government Affairs/REALTOR® Political Action Committee (2024-Present), WIAR Membership (2024-Present), and WIAR Executive/Finance (2023-Present).
At the state level, Erin serves on the Washington REALTORS® Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (2024-Present), using her background in social work to meet folks where they are, understanding the complexities and intersectionality of barriers, and pathways to homeownership and wealth-building. Erin is Latina & a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance. She is in the midst of collaborating to launch a local Women’s Council of REALTORS® Network for Whatcom, Skagit and Island Counties in 2025.
Erin has also served as Director (2022-2023) in charge of marketing, and Secretary (2023-2024) in charge of streamlining the volunteer check-in process for North Whidbey Hearts & Hammers (NWH&H). NWH&H is a non-profit committed to helping the most vulnerable homeowners live safely in their homes by repairing/improving their homes/yards at no cost. She has applied her connections with local small businesses and larger business grants for In-Kind Sponsorship/Donations/Investments.
She has coached and sponsored two youth soccer teams for her nephew and niece through North Whidbey Soccer Club’s recreation level and Deception Football Club’s select level since 2021.
Erin would be honored to help clients achieve their Real Estate goals through buying/selling, or by referring them to the Acorn Properties Property Management department for Rentals or Association Management. She guides folx as a knowledgeable advocate, and trusted professional/friend.
